¤ New power: his useless power in Carriero is that he keeps his dynamites, but instead of exploding, they release confetti.
¤ Appearance: If you look very closely, you'll notice that he has gills, an old memento from the
first main event so to speak. They allow him to breathe underwater (I picture them to be situated in the jaw/neck area, close to his ears).
¤ Can usually be found:
- His own room: 40% - journal-writing/sleeping/reading
- Music room: 15% - playing piano
- Cafeteria: 10% - eat/grab a new pack of cigarettes
- Library: 5% - trying to find some decent reading material
- Garden: 15% - practicing with his home-made bow
- Gym: 5% - exercising
- Other: 1-10% - other rooms, hanging out/talking with people etc

Changes:
¤ Dynamites. He's carried around these things for so long that they're almost part of him so their absence bothers him. The teen isn't weak, but his firepower has diminished greatly without any sort of weapons so he's trying to keep up his 'strong' image at all times, especially since there's plenty of powerful people in Carriero. Keeping up appearances is surely as important here as it was on the streets; act tough, and maybe people will think twice about jumping him.
¤ Death. He doesn't care that much in regards to his own life anymore, but he still worries about other people he cares for; the respawn might malfunction again at some point after all..
¤ Social. He's still wary about opening up and getting close to people; the fact that Kouki and Miku vanished didn't exactly help in this regard. The murders of Romano and Luka also bothers him a great deal. Recently he's become rather attached to Andrea however, and is getting along pretty well with most of the inmates who has been around for a while.
Problems/disorders (since Carriero is a mental hospital):
1. Low self-worth
# Is feeling increasingly more weak and useless due to all his unsuccessful escape plans, and failure to protect Andrea and other inmates he cares about in the asylum. Also feels like he's stagnating mentally due to the lack of useful books in the asylum.
+ Feels a small sense of accomplishment in organizing the party.
+ Is trying to actively do something about this feeling (exercising, bow-practice)
2. Reckless
# Is regressing back to being uncaring about his own life mainly due to having died four times in Carriero (Ashura/fire/beach-event, cowboys/explosion/kid-event, asylum/crushed/escape-attempt, soldiers/shot/rescue mission). Also a side-effect of point 1.
+ A small improvement here as of late since a few people have seemed upset at the thought of him getting harmed or dying.
3. Temper
# Easily agitated. Can get violent, but usually stick to insults and yelling.
- Has physically assaulted four inmates as of now, but just one of these was an actual fight.

Additional notes of interest:
¤ I'm playing Gokudera after the future arch, and he has matured quite a bit during this time in comparison to what he was like at the start of the manga. Still easily agitated, but more inclined to co-operate with others in order to reach his goals.
¤ He's gotten sort of used to strange new arrivals after being locked up Carriero for about two years so his usual obsession with aliens/UMAs/etc has dulled a bit, but he still finds them fascinating!
